It is the peak of summer and going out during the day seems daunting, but how do we convince our little people about that? Looking for places where we can take our kids during summers in Dubai for their entertainment becomes an ongoing task.
As a matter of fact, children need outdoor exposure or at least a structured play setup for their proper growth and development. I have researched and found a few very interesting places where you can take kids this summer in Dubai for their outdoor cravings.
1. Dreamland Aqua Park
Now who doesn’t love to play in water in this scorching summer in Dubai. One of the largest water parks and extremely popular, Dreamland Aqua Park offers a wide range of water attractions and rides, including water slides, wave pools, a lazy river, and a children’s play area. It even hosts various entertainment shows and events, including live music and dance performances.
The best thing is their price. They are so affordable compared to some of the other popular water parks in the city. Just 100 bucks for kids and AED160 for adults and you can have a watery blast of a day at this fantastic attraction.
2. AYA
I recently got to know about the amazing spot where adults and kids both can have a mesmerizing experience without burning much of your pocket. AYA is an immersive experience park where you move through avatars, stars, flora zones, and celestial skies, decorated to awe you with blooming lights and mirrors. You are assured to be lost in the beauty. The ticket will cost you AED110 and it is situated in the Wafi City Mall.
3. Dubai Ice Rink
Situated in the Dubai Mall, this Olympic-sized ice-skating rink, Dubai Ice Rink is an ideal fun destination for both beginners and experienced ice skaters. In these hot summers ice rink becomes a relaxing abode for those who have a zeal for the sport.
The ticket starts at AED90 and can be more on weekends can vary.
4. Dubai Marina
Though it is hot, September evenings can still be bearable and an amazing spot to visit for the whole family. There is an array of restaurants to satiate your hunger and various ongoing activities for your entertainment.

An incredible children’s play museum which also claims to be Dubai’s first in its category. It is a fun-packed wholesome experience for the whole family. Two floors spread by eight interactive galleries to spark your child’s imagination and explorative skills.
7. Magic Planet play zones
One of the best places to take your kids when they want wholesome entertainment. There are video games and rides that could keep kids of all ages hooked up for hours.
There is no entry ticket, but you pay for the rides. There are several Magic Planet centers all over Dubai, but our personal favorite is in the Mirdiff City Centre.
8. Air Maniax
Air Maniax Dubai is an indoor adventure park and entertainment center located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It offers a wide range of activities and attractions for children and adults.
There is varied pricing depending on what activity you choose to do. It starts from AED25 and can go up accordingly.
9. Children’s City
Children’s City in Dubai is a popular educational and entertainment center specifically designed for children aged 2 to 15 years old. It is a part of Dubai Creek Park, located in the heart of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Children’s City aims to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience for kids through various exhibits, activities, and workshops covering topics like science, nature, space, and culture. It’s a great place for children to explore and learn in a fun and engaging environment.
Entry Fee – AED10 for kids and AED15 for adults.
10. Library
Everyone at my home loves the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, not just for its appealing infrastructure but how there are books and a perfect reading environment set for kids of every age. One of the best places to take kids during summer. Children aged 5 and above are only allowed to visit by making an appointment on their website.
By chance you have an upcoming holiday, you can even plan a staycation with your family. Emirates such as Ras al Khaimah or Fujairah have lower temperatures than Dubai.
